From a Discipleship Training School (DTS) classroom to a 24-hour prayer room to a dream of an International Cafe, the face of our new building will soon be a welcoming sign to the city of Boise.

Attached to our new building is a large, six-bedroom house that we will use for student and staff housing as well as hosting outreach teams here in Boise.  This will allow us to train more students and send them out all over the world.

Closing Date (the date we need the downpayment)- March 15th, 2017

We have the opportunity as YWAM in Boise to purchase our permanent home and outreach center to our city.  At this moment we sit in the midst of an impossible task but thankfully we know the God of the impossible.  We have until March 15th to raise the downpayment $74,000, or ideally the total of $360,000 to make this our home.  We are so excited to see how God reaches the multitude of Nations that are now making Boise home through this building.

If you feel led to partner with us, every cent counts.  You can go to our DONATE page, select an amount and the designate the gift to “Boise Building Fund“.

The Team:  In August of 2015, Matt & Heidi Keller moved to Boise with a small team to pioneer the Boise campus of YWAM Idaho. During this first year and a half in Boise, the team has grown to 13 staff (some of those pictured on the left), started it’s second full Discipleship Training School (DTS) and ministered to refugees on the frontlines of the crisis around the world as well as here in our backyard. We don’t believe it’s an accident that many people from Nations that are closed to the Gospel are the very people we are able to reach right here in Boise.

The Vision:  Haggai chapter 2 says, “The Lord is shaking the Nations and the treasures are coming out“, and we believe that those treasures are people.  They are people from Nations previously closed to the gospel of Jesus and they are here in our city.  What an incredible opportunity we have to reach these treasures!

The Decision

The Board of Directors of YWAM Idaho approved the purchase of the new Boise campus in early January. Our team has until March 15th to raise at least the down payment of $72,000. The total sale price is $360,000.

The Building

The building is comprised of two main structures. The first is the “office” building. This would become the new DTS classroom, 24-hour prayer room, YWAM Boise office, Refugee Welcome Café and refugee English classroom. The second structure is the six-bedroom home that would become student and staff housing as well as potential refugee Welcome Housing.

The Incredibly Strategic Location

If we were to compile a list of dreams and wants in a facility it would be hard to do better than this.

  • It is located at a popular bus stop where it is easy for our refugee friends without a vehicle to access.
  • The space! We can currently house 12 students but this will allow us to house more than double that number. It will also increase our classroom space and establish an outreach center (café), which has been on the hearts of many in our city.
  • Proximity to our current facility! This new location is only 4 blocks, walking distance, from our current location. This will allow us to continue to use our current housing alongside this new property. It would be hard to dream up a better location than this.
