And His Work Continues!

And His Work Continues!

Since 2003, when the camp at our Warm Lake campus was purchased by YWAM Idaho, we have felt the LORD leading us to be good stewards in the facilities He’s given to our care.  We have seen God’s hands on our camp, when in 2007, a fire burned all around it but barely touched anything inside it’s property line!  We know that the presence of God is in our camp, when we are told countless times that, “We can feel God here!”  We also know that God doesn’t need buildings to do His will.  But He chooses to use buildings to meet our needs and see glory to His name come from it.

We take great pride in the facilities that God has blessed us with.  This camp, after all, is where YWAM Idaho started!  From the very beginning we have felt God tell us to steward well the camp at Warm Lake.  But not just camp, all of our facilities in our three campus base.  I’m reminded of the parable Jesus told about the three servants in Matthew 25:14 (NLT).  And in verse 21 when the servant with the 5 bags of silver turned it into 5 more bags of silver, “the master was full of praise.  “Well done, my good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities.  Let’s celebrate together!”

Often times stewardship can get overlooked or taken for granted.  And we understand that stewarding a camp well is not a small task.  That’s why it has taken 13 years to get the facilities at Warm Lake up to good stewarded condition.  And after those long 13 years we are finally on our last building.  This is our five bags of coins becoming five more bags of coins!

The old shower house.  Which is now a buildings supply shed.  Is something that we see as more of a storage unit.  And we feel the pressing need to steward this building into a conference/retreat cabin that will also allow us to keep this portion of the camp open in the winter.  Allowing for further equipping, mobilizing, and caring for pastors, ministries, and missionaries!

Here’s an idea of what it can look like when it’s finished.

We have further plans for the camp in the future for upkeep, maintenance, and remodeling.  And we are excited for these, “many more responsibilities” that the master refers to in Matthew 25:21.  But, would you help us achieve this final stage in our stewardship quest?  Than we can, as the master in Jesus’ story said, “celebrate together!”

We do ask that everyone pray with us as we work to move wisely and efficiently. Would you prayerfully consider giving of your time, resources, and material to help make this project happen?  And, lastly, would you prayerfully consider giving of your finances to bring this building to completion?  Click donate to give.  Scroll down and click on the box, “I would like to designate this donation to a specific fund.”  Then scroll down and select “Warm Lake Building Fund.”

Thank you for praying with us, and thank you for giving to us!  You are a huge part of what happens here!

God Bless!
